Dreams have fascinated humans for centuries, offering glimpses into the subconscious and connecting us to a deeper sense of purpose. But how often do we truly listen to the messages our dreams are trying to share?
I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Megan Mary, a dream analyst, metaphysical mystery author, and founder of the Women’s Dream Analysis. Through her work, Megan empowers women worldwide to interpret their dreams, embrace spiritual awakening, and embark on transformative journeys.
Here’s what I learned about Megan’s journey, her unique approach to dream analysis, and how dreams can unlock powerful insights into our lives.
From Curious Dreamer to Dream Analyst
Megan’s fascination with dreams began in childhood when she experienced recurring nightmares and exhilarating flying dreams.
These vivid experiences sparked a lifelong curiosity about the purpose of dreams and the messages they hold. Over the years, Megan explored academic disciplines like mythology, sociology, and philosophy, while also delving into metaphysics and the esoteric.
Yet, like many of us, she drifted away from paying attention to her dreams—until life had other plans. A series of chronic illnesses led Megan to embark on deep inner work, including shadow work, meditation, and reflection. During this process, she reopened the door to her dreams and discovered a profound source of guidance.
With time, Megan realized it wasn’t enough to explore her own dreams—she felt called to help others uncover the wisdom in their own subconscious. This calling inspired her to create her dream analysis business, Women’s Dream Analysis, as well as her podcast, Women’s Dream Enlightenment.

Why Dreamwork Matters
Dreamwork is more than just interpreting the images and stories that play out in our sleep—it’s a practice that connects us to our intuition, our subconscious, and even the universal wisdom surrounding us.
According to Megan, all of us dream, even if we don’t always remember. REM sleep, which occurs in cycles throughout the night, provides a fertile ground for dreams, but many of us aren’t trained to recall them. By practicing dream recall, we can tap into the 95% of our subconscious mind that often remains hidden in our waking hours.

Dreams can reveal truths we might not consciously recognize, help us process emotions, and even provide creative inspiration. Megan describes dreams as “a pathway to spiritual intelligence,” one that holds immense potential for personal growth and transformation.
The Dream Mirror Method
To help people unlock the power of their dreams, Megan developed a unique process called the Dream Mirror Method. This four-step approach empowers individuals to interpret their dreams in a deeply personal way:
Record: Start by keeping a dream journal. Write down every detail you can remember, including colors, people, locations, and emotions. Give your dream a title, as if it were a short story.
Mood: Pay close attention to your emotional state before, during, and after the dream. Emotions are often key to understanding the dream’s message.
Mirror: Reflect on the symbols, actions, and landscapes in your dream. What do they mean to you personally? For example, if a lion appears in your dream, its meaning may differ depending on your own life experiences and perceptions.
Metaphor: View your dream as a symbolic story. What message is it trying to convey about your waking life? What steps can you take to integrate this insight into your daily routine?
By following this method, you can uncover the unique messages hidden in your dreams and apply them to your personal growth and healing.
Dream Manifestation and Spiritual Awakening
One of the most fascinating aspects of Megan’s work is helping clients use their dreams for guidance and manifestation. Through a practice known as Dream Incubation, you can ask a specific question or set an intention before sleeping and allow your subconscious—or perhaps your higher self—to respond.
“The answer may come in a dream, or you might notice intuitive insights or synchronicities in the days that follow,” Megan explains. This practice offers a powerful way to tap into the wisdom of your subconscious and align with your deeper purpose.
Dream Empowerment Programs
For those eager to deepen their connection to their dreams, Megan offers several options for working with her:
One-on-One Dream Sessions: Perfect for those who have a single dream they want to explore in depth.
90-Day Dream Empowerment Programs: These programs guide participants through the Dream Mirror Method, helping them build a consistent dreamwork practice and track their progress over time.
Online Course: A self-paced program for those who want to learn the tools and techniques of dreamwork on their own.
Dream Mirror Journal: A free downloadable guide to help you start capturing and interpreting your dreams.
Megan also incorporates healing modalities like sound frequency meditations, journal prompts, and affirmations to help clients integrate the insights from their dreams into their waking lives.
Listen to Your Dreams
When asked what she hopes people take away from her work, Megan offered this powerful advice:
"Listen to your dreams. They hold messages for you. I believe they are the key to not only our intuition but to being more in alignment with our full purpose. There’s so much waiting behind that door for you."
