🎙️ How to Find Aligned Podcast Guests
Using Facebook Groups (Without Feeling Salesy or Spammy)
If you’re a spiritual entrepreneur, coach, or conscious creator with a podcast — or if you’re thinking about starting one — let’s talk about how to find aligned, ready-to-serve guests without resorting to spammy pitches or cold DMs.
Here’s my go-to strategy that’s helped me fill hundreds of podcast guest spots effortlessly… and it starts in a place you might be overlooking: Facebook Groups.
Why Facebook Groups Still Work
Even in 2025, Facebook groups are thriving micro-communities full of conscious coaches, authors, healers, and creatives looking to connect and collaborate. The trick is approaching it with care and intention.
And there are communities where people are actively looking for podcast guests!
This isn’t about blasting your link. It’s about inviting the right people into your sacred space.
My 3-Step Facebook Method for Finding Amazing Guests
Step 1: The Native Background Post
Write a short, heart-centered post using a native FB background (you know, the colored ones that grab attention). Keep it simple and specific.
Example: "I’m looking to feature 5 coaches, authors, or healers with a powerful story of transformation on my podcast. If you’re ready to share your journey and inspire others, drop a 💫 below."
✨ Don’t include a link. Let the magic unfold naturally.
Step 2: Heart Their Comments (Don’t Just Like Them)
Once the comments start rolling in, take your time. HEART each comment — it creates a deeper connection than a like.
Then, slowly (no more than 5–6 at a time), reply to each comment tagging the person and letting them know:
"I’ll DM you with more info soon!"
Be sure to vary up the responses & only do a few at a time - you can easily end up in FB jail if you go to fast. (ask me how I know 🤣)
Step 3: Slide Into the DMs (With Warmth and Clarity)
Now head to their inbox and send a personal message. You don’t need to over-explain — just lead with love and clarity.
Here’s an example:
"Hi [First Name], thank you for commenting on my post! I’d love to feature you on the You World Order Showcase Podcast. Here’s where you can learn more and grab a spot if it feels aligned:
💡 Be sure to personalize your messages. Copy/paste won’t land the same energetically. And again, could end you up not being able to message anyone for a period of time.
A Few Key Do’s & Don’ts
✅ Do take your time — this is relationship building, not a numbers game.
✅ Do tag each person when you comment back.
✅ Do use a heart, not just a like.
🚫 Don’t include your link in the group post or replies. Let the conversation flow to the DMs.
